Educational Visits and Visitors
At Parnwell we plan educational visits and visitors regularly, to support the work being undertaken in the classroom. These visits are very well and carefully organised and are extremely valuable for the children. You will receive full details of each visit and will be invited to make a voluntary contribution towards the cost of the visit. Whilst a child may not be deprived of the activity on the grounds of non-contribution, it may be necessary to cancel the visit should insufficient funds be made available. All coaches used for trips are fully fitted with seatbelts and full risk assessments are undertaken.
Charging for School Activities
The School Governors believe that no child should be excluded from any educational activity because of an inability to pay. However, due to financial constraints we must request voluntary contributions for certain activities. We welcome the support of parents in order to ensure that special activities, residential visits and day visits may continue to play an important part in the lives and education of our children. The school reserves the right to cancel proposed visits if voluntary contributions do not cover the cost.
